Inmates/detainees will be allowed to have money orders sent to them while incarcerated. Funds will be sent directly to inmates/detainees at the facility to be placed in the inmate/detainee’s account. Funds must be in the form of a money order or cashier check made payable to the inmate/detainee. There is no limit to the amount of funds that the inmate/detainee may receive on any given day. All funds must clearly indicate the inmate/detainee’s name and BOC number and may be included with incoming general correspondence. Cash will not be accepted. Personal checks will not be accepted. Checks made out to multiple parties will not be accepted. Foreign currency will not be accepted.
